Monte’s Blog Headers/Banners

As I build this Blog up from bottom to top, I’ve discovered the true importance of the Header Images.  I cannot really begin trying to relax and blog away, but first I need to…

…complete a few other Header/Banners, the self-promotional design images, which appear atop of every Blog page.  These will also randomly change if you refresh your screen a few times.  And I need to familiarize myself better with this excellent WordPress software.  I am figuring this out as time allows me to attend to it, time away from the multitude of art pieces I’m desperately trying to complete for my online portfolio, one in particular before I can move on to post production work on them in order to finalize the entire 2012 portfolio.

My concept for the Header/Banner designs.  Since the artist has a complex and very interesting history, and at first glance his art may be easily misunderstood by those with limited exposure and understanding to any real Fine Artwork or even the theory of Fine Art and ability to discern between other forms of real utilitarian Art such as Poster Art, Interior Design Art (puke-art), Hotel-Art, Commercial/Freelance Straight Artists, Craftspeople, Artisans, Illustrators, Comic Book Artists, Graphic Designers, etc. etc. If, in actuality, a lurker might wrongfully assume they understand much of my art, but they’d be wrong.   The following banners below represent a few subdivisions of my greater portfolio of art, and in general to my overall life devoted to art, which nobody truly currently knows or understands, unless I articulate the status of my Art  now.

I hope this Blog conveys ‘The Best Of Art by Monte Philip Cohen,’ me, from past to present.  And am developing the blog here alternatively over time as a means of reaching out to more like-minded, right-brained individuals, artists and non-artists, peers, art collectors, alike who have an interest in my Art in general or my own Art or theories on art.  Perhaps I may even make new acquaintances, friendships and contacts along the way.

So far I’ve completed the following Subdivisions of Myself.

#1:  My X-tremely dysfunctional right-brainism.  Invest In this artist, me.  :)

#2:  Progressive Surrealism and Art Theories that I’ve began developing during this past bygone year of 2011.  And who if any will connect with it?

Progressive Surrealism

#3:  Weird Characters from my warped imagination and humor.  Humor and my unfettered warped imagination.

Humor and my unfettered warped right-brained imagination.

#4:  The public exposure and reaction to The Spirit’s Art beyond those who were already familiar with it.

The Art Of The Spirit.

Public reaction and exposure to The Spirit's easily misunderstood Art.

#5:  A mix-mash of the varied published forms my art has appeared thus far manifested over the flying years.

#6:  Poster Art:  As a kid, I grew up in, and was groomed for ‘what-should-have-been’ my rightful place in a Family Art publishing business that was part of the Poster Art explosion of the 1980s and 1990s that grew from the 1970s.  A rare insider’s look at the Not-So Fine Art Poster Industry, and just who were those people running such businesses?
